Pop-Up Trailers
Ideal for campers and individuals who are new to RVing, pop-up trailers have a heavy canvas top that expands out once transport is complete. While in transport, pop-up trailers fold up to be just several feet tall, making towing easy. While inexpensive when compared to other types, they typically don’t include much in the way of appliances and other amenities.
Types of Motorized RVs
Motorized RVs are distinguished by class type. There are three types that differ from each other as follows:
Class A
With a bus-like appearance, Class A motorized RVs are the most expensive of any make, with some running close to $500,000. Many of these models run on diesel engines, which are more efficient than gas engines. The interiors can have all the luxury of an upscale home, include stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.
Class B
The most affordable of the motorized models, this type is also referred to as a camper van. Similar to a cargo van in appearance, this type is the most maneuverable and affordable. On the downside, space is limited.
Class C
The middle-sized class of the motorized RVs, the Class C type is built on a truck chassis with an overhang that extends beyond the cab. Similar to Class A, diesel and gas options are available.
