The majority of Americans support the protesters
against the killing of a black citizen and do not support President Trump’s tough response. That’s according to a Reuters Epsus poll.
Protests continue in the US state of Minnesota against the killing of black citizen George Floyd by white police officers. Sixty-four percent of adult Americans support the protesters, according to the poll. Twenty-seven percent are opposed, while nine percent have no opinion.
It has also come to light that more than 55 percent of Americans view President Trump’s actions as inappropriate. Only one-third said the measures were valid. Only 39 percent of people in the country believe that President Trump is using his position properly.
According to another poll, the popularity of Donald Trump’s rival Joe Biden in the presidential election has increased by a record ten percent. Twice as many independent voters did not support Trump.
