After the United States, Britain has warned China to refrain from its alleged dictatorial measures on the issue of national security law in Hong Kong, otherwise, there will be resistance by forming an alliance.
British Foreign Secretary Dominic Robb said it was time for China to back down, respect Hong Kong’s sovereignty, and respect its international obligations.
Dominic Robb said that if China did not do so, it would be tantamount to stealing the most precious stone in Asia’s economic crown. China’s parliament passed a number of key decisions last week to legislate for Hong Kong.
Under which laws can be enacted to suppress insurgent or separatist attempts, terrorism, and foreign intervention. The new rules would also allow Chinese security and intelligence personnel to be deployed in Hong Kong.
