In the western and central parts of India, the desert locust flags have begun to destroy crops, the worst attack in 27 years in the country.

The administration is using drones, tractors, and vehicles to spray pesticides to kill locusts.

In the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, 8 to 10 Locust swarms are attacking an area of every square kilometer (0.3 miles).

In both states, locusts have caused extensive damage to seasonal crops and the already troubled farmers have been hit hard by the coronavirus lockdown.
