X6- BMW Launched a Kool Car in India

BMW, the luxury car maker, has launched another improved version of its existing SUV, the X6, and it has been given a more mature look compared to its predecessor. The German manufacturers have said that the X6 has been re-designed comprehensively, and this new design, using high strength steel, aluminum and thermo plastics has resulted in the car being lighter than its predecessor, by 40 kgs.

When seen from the front, the new style of boldness is evident by the re-designed headlights on either side of the beautified radiator grille and the fog lights on the bumper being slightly higher than usual. The air-vents on the grille are decorated with chrome and so is the skid plate. The bonnet is enormous, and the roof lines meeting the bonnet gently, add to the expression of the car. Multi spoke alloy wheels on all 4 tires make the car look classy. The outside rear view mirrors are fixed with LED turn indicators and they are body colored, as are the handles on the doors. The tail lights are re-designed to look sportier and to add to this look is the unique rectangular shaped dual exhaust pipes. you can also check out the new Hyundai Creta Price in India , specification, Images, Reviews

If the exteriors are excellently done, the interiors are even more outstanding. The cabin is designed such that 5 adults can sit comfortably on the high grade leather upholstered cushions. The steering wheel is a 3-spoke leather covered one, with the company logo embellished on it. The steering is also known as Active Steering, since it provides the agility, comfort and accuracy, for different types of driving. In fact it is made such that when the car is moving at lower speeds, the steering angle increases proportionately. The dashboard is made of supreme quality plastic, with liberal use of chrome and wood to give the plush look. Just behind the steering wheel, is the full-color BMW Head-Up Display, which enables the driver to access all information regarding the journey.

Currently the X6 is launched in diesel variant alone, and the bonnet has inside it, a 3 liter, triple turbo, 6 cylinder diesel one, which produces a power of 381 bhp and torque of 630 Nm. With regards to mileage, this car is said to give 12.8 km/l on city roads and 15.87 km/l on highways. The X6 reaches the 100 km/h mark, from standstill, in a mere 5.8 seconds and the maximum speed is 240 km/h. As is expected from BMW, safety is given supreme importance, with six airbags, cornering brake control, stability control, side impact protection, crash sensor, engine vehicle immobilizer and hill descent control.
