China says an investigation into the origin and spread of the coronavirus would be premature.
A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that most countries believe that the epidemic is not over yet and that fighting and co-operation is a top priority at the moment.
The spokesman said that an immediate start to the investigation into the outbreak of the epidemic would be premature, adding that the European Union and Australia intend to present a resolution at the World Health Organization meeting in support of the Coronavirus investigation.
The first virtual two-day meeting of WHO health ministers are taking place today.
