The head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Antonio Guterres, has expressed hope that the Corona epidemic will be completely eradicated in less than two years.
Addressing a ceremony in Geneva, the WHO chief said a global coalition was needed to control Corona.
He said that before that it had taken 2 years to control the Spanish flu.
The WHO chief added that advances in technology could help prevent the coronavirus “in the shortest possible time”.
According to statistics, 231,433,388 people have been infected with the coronavirus worldwide so far.
The deadly virus has so far killed 83,597 people.
